Between 2007 and 2012, television broadcasts
in the UK will switch over to digital and the old signal (analogue) will be switched off. Most new sets are equipped with
built in digital tuners which means they can receive terrestrial (through your aerial) digital TV channels without an additional
set-top box. A lot of areas are already receiving the new digital services so you can switch now if desired.
